Aboriginal people of Canada face unique mental health challenges. I have a great amount of respect for the Indigenous Peoples in Canada and their values and culture. Working collaboratively with you, I ensure that there is safety, rapport, and trust. I embrace a holistic view of mental wellness emphasizing a balance with family, community, and the larger environment.

  • Depression and Anxiety

I am registered under the Non-Insured Health Benefit Program (NIHB) as well as the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRSRHSP).

These programs are funded by Health Canada.

Under Non-Insured Health Benefit Program (NIHB), psychological therapy is available for those with “Indian status”. Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRSRHSP) provides psychological supports for former Indian Residential School (IRS) students, or their family members. Since this is funded by Health Canada, if you fall under either of these programs, you can receive psychological services free of cost.
