I use a gentle, gradual approach to heal the trauma of car accidents. I teach you how to allow yourself to process the accident – not just with your mind, but also with your body. Working together, we focus on sensations and allow you to feel the emotions without judgement. We look at the anxiety and depression symptoms that may have surfaced after the accident, and work through them. You have the ability to heal yourself and I can provide the support and guidance to allow you to do this.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Prolonged Exposure therapy, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help you move past the trauma of a motor vehicle accident.
